kynectors are trained people right in your community who can give you free help in person or over the phone. Northeast Kentucky Community Action Agency (NKCAA) kynectors serve Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Greenup, and Lawrence Counties.  

A kynector can help you with your benefits in the following ways:

• Apply for Medicaid and KI-HIPP

• Apply for Qualified Health Plan

• Report Changes in your information

• Recertify your benefits

• Begin an application for SNAP and/or CCAP*
